A point is scored for each type of meld as follows: 3 or 4 of a kind - 10 points; 5 of a kind - 20 points; Royal flush - 50 points; Straight flush - 25 points. The highest possible score in a single hand is therefore 190 points (4 x 10 pts + 5 x 20 pts + 50 pts).
